길은 보행로이자 기억의 자취이고, 목표에 이르는 방법이자 과정이며, 익숙해지기위한 경험의 절차이자 적극적인 행위메뉴얼이다.
모르고 대할 때에는 복잡하고 난해하며 까다롭고 폐쇄적인 길, 그러나 알고나면 명쾌하고 아름다운길. 작가는 길을 찾는 탐험가의 자세로 소외된 다수의 사용자를 위해 고안된 맵과 노테이션 디자인 작품들을 통해 새로운 경험과 통찰력을 더할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 하였다.

건강한 성생활이란 배우자와의 성관계시, 성적 극치감을 통한 성교감으로 상호만족과 일체감을
경험하므로써 행복한 애정관계 유지에 기여하는 것이다. 그러나 전세계적으로 40%가 넘는
성인여성들이 평생에 걸쳐 단 한번도 오르가즘을 경험하지 못한 채 살아가고 있다. 남성중심적
성문화와 성에 대한 사회적 터부는 여성 스스로 자신의 성 취향과 기호의 탐색을 어렵게 만들어
‘유희로서의 성’을 포기하게 하며, 이는 결국 여성은 물론 파트너에게도 불행한 결과를 가져온다.

모든 여성은 성행위시 오르가즘에 도달할 수 있는 최적의 행위 프로세스가 있을 것이라는 가설
하에, 성기와 성감대의 구조와 역할을 맵으로 도식화하여 적절한 시각적 행위기록도구인
노테이션을 설계, 자신의 초상화(Portraits for Orgasm)를 작성, 기록하여 스스로 자신의 성
유희정체성의 개발지표로 삼아, 파트너와의 건전한 성 유희의 실현에 기여하고자 고안되었다.

A healthy sex life is to contribute to maintaining a happy romantic relationship by experiencing mutual satisfaction and the sense of becoming one from mutual response felt through orgasm during sexual intercourse with your spouse. However, over 40% of adult women worldwide have not experienced orgasm even once throughout their lifetime. The male-centered sex culture and social taboo on sex makes it difficult for women to search for their own sexual orientation and preferences. They give up on ‘sex as a pleasant amusement’ which leads to an unhappy result for her partner as well.

Under the hypothesis that all women would have an ideal behavior process to orgasm during sexual intercourse, the structures and roles of the sexual organs and erogenous zones were schematized into maps and notation, an appropriate visual behavior recording device was designed. Self-portraits (Portraits for Orgasm) were drawn and recorded as an index for developing one’s own sexual pleasure identity. They were designed to contribute to realizing healthy sexual amusements with one’s partner.
